I inadvertently pulled on the needle in my right hand as I struggled to position my phone and take a photo with my left
I gave myself my first shot of T an hour ago. It was tough! I couldn’t even break the skin on my first try. I think I was pinching my thigh so hard the flesh was too tight and taut to penetrate. My second attempt was much gentler. I only pinched my leg slightly and stabbed myself with the needle as if I were throwing a dart, as several of the videos I’ve watched suggested. It went right in and I didn’t even have difficulty sinking it in all the way. (The needle is only one inch long.) It didn’t hurt while I injected the liquid either. I feel a huge sense of relief knowing I won’t have a problem giving myself the shots. I’d been a little concerned it would wig me out.
Now I’m just excited and counting down the days until my next dose next week. I can’t wait to see how quickly the changes start to appear!
